While at ALA we got to read Jon Klassen’s awesome new book I Want My Hat Back. It’s really great. It reminded us that we need to keep it simple when working on stories.

That is, our first time attending the ALA conference. We’re all booked, and have never been to NOLA, so we can’t wait.

Currently reading. Great book.
A look at all the amazing and absurd things that have gone on behind the scenes in space programs throughout history. Roach has a nice way of combining humor and lots of research to create a really enjoyable look at any subject. See what I mean in the TED talk for her previous book about sex.

Is a fantastic cover designing extravaganza going on over at Office of Light and Letters that includes some of the absolute best cover designers ever. For serious. Like who? Like Chip Kidd, John Gall, Heads of State, Chris Brand and Helen Yentus to name a few. Learn more about how awesome this project and the OLL is here.
